| Hello,
I completed my cadet training earlier and while i am still finding it a bit difficult, i am slowly improving and should hopefully become a much better cadet as time progresses! :-) Something i was wondering is when i start a chase, i don't have an audible siren unless i hold down the horn button with HORN 5 selected. It can be kinda hard to hold the button down and operate handbrake and clutch on the keyboard as well, but if i don't bother then it's like people almost forget they're being chased... And not having an audible siren and flashing lights wipes away some of the most fun aspects of engaging in pursuits as a cadet. Also, i noticed that some other cadets/officers have proper sirens which sound like actual police cars.
I downloaded TCLights V2 because someone else had mentioned this in the chat, but i haven't had much success with making it work. I followed this video tutorial here and everything seems to be correct, i have the .exe in my C:/LFS directory and when i start LFS it says 'InSim: Port 29999' in the upper-left corner followed by 'InSim - TCP: TCLights' when i launch TCLights afterwards. Yet for some reason, once i'm in the server it doesn't do anything when pressing the Page Down/Page Up buttons as instructed. I have tried in Single Player as well but nothing happens. Is it actually compatible with the latest version of LFS? (0.6P) I'm not sure what else it could be because i have done everything in which the video illustrates.
Which InSim programs do other people use as alternatives for their sirens and strobe lights, and does anyone know whereabouts i'm making this unusual mistake with TCLights? :-) Thanks!

| Forget all those programs lol, LFS added a siren command for cruise servers, and we are using it (/siren slow /siren fast /siren off) while you are on duty you can use them, if not contact an admin. | |

| Oh wow, that's a lot more simple than using that stupid program which doesn't even work. :-) Thanks man! I binded these commands onto my Alt keys and quickly tested them in the server, everything seems to work fine so that's awesome. Problem solved. | |

Haha, well i know it works for some people but it didn't for me unfortunately. I reinstalled LFS thinking that might resolve the problem and it did work initially, but once i'd copied back my skins and .dds mods it had stopped working again. I'm not sure but it might be because i am launching with the Pereulok launcher .exe rather than the Live For Speed .exe. Maybe renaming the Pereulok launcher to LFS.exe would resolve it but i dunno, that's probably being a bit optimistic. Either way, it doesn't matter, the commands embedded into LFS are much more seamless and work better for me. :-)

| I never used strobe programs. I find them uncomfortable. | |

| TC Lights should work fine. Works perfectly for me, not sure why it doesn't for you. | |
